One of the most dynamic real estate markets in the world over the past two decades has continued to be the city of Dubai. In this time period, the city has continued to gain an international reputation for building some of the most amazing buildings in the world that have combined creativity and architectural genius. One company that has continued to be a leader in the Dubai real estate market is DAMAC Properties.
Today, DAMAC Properties is led by Hussain Sajwani, who is a successful businessman with a very long track record. Under the leadership of Sajwani, the real estate firm has continued to build some of the most impressive residential and commercial buildings in Dubai. While he has been leading this real estate firm for quite some time, Hussain Sajwani also has had other successful ventures as well.
Hussain Sajwani was originally born in the United Arab Emirate, where he spent the majority of his childhood. After graduating from high school, he ended up going to the United States to pursue a degree at the University of Washington. While he was in school, he gained a strong understanding and interest in business and chose to return to Dubai after graduating.
For the first few years after college, real estate developer Sajwani worked in the oil and gas industry for Abu Dhabi Gas Industries. In his role at Abu Dhabi Gas Industries, he was involved in many different aspects including financial analysis, trading, and sales. During this time, he was able to build some very impressive relationships and came up with a great concept for a new catering company. His catering company, which is now called Global Logistic Services, is one of the largest in the world and has many very impressive customers including the United State Military.
In 2002, Sajwani started his real estate company. While they started small with just one company, DAMAC Properties is now one of the largest in all of Dubai. The company has already developed more than 19,000 apartment, condos, and other units around Dubai and other major cities with plans to expand even further in coming years.
